A LITTLE SMARTER, EVERY DAY

Your car routine,
one tap away.

On iPhone, you can use the Shortcuts app to create a Personal Automation triggered by an NFC sticker.

  1. 1Open Shortcuts → Automation → New Automation.
  2. 2Choose NFC and scan your sticker.
  3. 3Add actions, such as opening a Maps destination or playing music.

Important: NFC can trigger phone shortcuts, but it does not by itself start a car. Remote start depends on your vehicle, its official app and safety/security requirements. Set up and test while parked.

What is NFC? +

NFC means Near Field Communication. It lets compatible devices exchange a small amount of information when they’re held very close together.

Do people need to install an app? +

No app is needed just to open a Niffsee link. Your phone’s NFC support and settings can affect how the tap behaves.

Will Niffsee work with iPhone and Android? +

Many modern iPhones and Android phones support NFC. Exact behavior varies by device, settings and tag placement.

Can I change what my tag opens? +

That depends on how your Niffsee tag is configured. Our planned managed-link experience will let owners update destinations without rewriting the physical tag.

Can an NFC sticker start my car? +

An NFC sticker can trigger an iPhone Shortcut, but it cannot directly start a vehicle. Any remote-start action depends on the vehicle’s supported system and security requirements.
